Jesse Taylor, the current president of the Box5 Cabaret Theatre in Hopewell, has been acting and directing in the Greater Richmond area for over 15 years. He made his directorial debut with Little Shop of Horrors at the age of 16 years old.

Jesse has directed many shows, including last season's Sweeney Todd, Next to Normal, and Seussical: the Musical.

​

Jesse also has numerous acting credits including starring as Shrek in Shrek the Musical, Cinderella's Prince from Into the Woods, Gomez Addams in the Addams Family Musical, and John Wilkes Booth in Assassins.
